Playtime ideas

Don’t forget that a healthy animal requires more than just food…it needs plenty of exercise! What kinds of activities do you look forward to including in your pet’s playtime?

Commitment

These are a few things for you to consider, especially if a holistic lifestyle is new to you: We want our pups to go to the best homes possible. Homes that are committed to them through the tough times.

WI-FI

Please research EMF sensitivities and effects of wireless radiation on pets. 1 out of every 2 pets is diagnosed with cancer. Better to proactively turn off the wireless as much as possible than to deal with disease. We turn ours on for just a few hours a week for computer work. And we keep our phones as far from the dogs as possible, when not on airplane mode. There are various shielded cases and things you can look into as well. It will be worth a day of research to protect your own health too.

Vacation plans

When it comes to vacations, where will your dog go? Will he be able to go with you? Will you leave him with a friend? Or will you find a boarding place that agrees with a natural rearing diet?

Healthy Gut

A healthy dog is not a good host for parasites. Yay! This is our number two reason for keeping our dogs on an appropriate diet that encourages good gut health. Number one being, to glorify God and his creation. And our third reason is because it’s just easier than dealing with various diseases.

First Aid

Any Holistic Vet can help you write out a FIRST AID sheet for quick reference in emergencies and stressful situations. We keep ours posted on the fridge. It has: what to do for vomiting, diarrhea, burns, cuts, deep wounds, scratched eye, how to induce vomiting (just in case he got caught gorging on chicken feed or found chocolate).
